Viral Meme Apparel Brand with $93K Sales & Organic Instagram Traffic
Skibidi Drip is a viral meme apparel brand built around trending internet humor and Gen Z entertainment culture. The business runs on Shopify and monetizes through organic Instagram traffic, driving sales via viral reels and community driven engagement. It has generated $93K+ in lifetime sales(10 month) with high-profit margins and recently rebounded to $6K/month organically. Perfect for a buyer looking to scale with content or plug into paid ads (with ad friendly designs)
Commentary
The store did over $90K in revenue in its first 10 months, primarily through organic traffic. There was a temporary dip when focus shifted to other projects, but sales are now rebuilding with close to $6K generated last month. Margins are 50–60%, and there’s strong repeat potential via email, bundles, and expanding product lines. With light ad spend or additional sales channels like Amazon/Etsy, this can easily return to $10K+ months.
Assets Included
• Shopify store with full backend and domain • 2 Instagram accounts with 150K+ Followers • All creatives (viral reels, design files) • Email list (4500+ emails collected) • Winning product designs • 30 days of post-sale support (if buyer requests) • Supplier & fulfilment details • SOPs for organic content creation • Brand name, logos, and Canva templates
Growth Opportunities
• I’d create more bundles on the store (like spend 100 dollars and get a free shirt etc) • I’d leverage the 4,500+ email list for targeted campaigns and product drops. • I’d also launch an affiliate program (remember your margins are 50-60% so you could easily offer 25-30% commission) and hire a VA to mass DM meme pages for collabs and to push the affiliates. • Finally, I’d test proven viral creatives with suitable designs using light ad spend to scale. • Expand to Etsy or Amazon for additional sales channels, especially since the products are meme-driven and low-ticket impulse buys. • Repurpose top performing shirt designs onto hats, phone cases and mugs to maximise each viral design’s lifetime value. • Offer a subscription model like a shirt every month with a unique design.. since there’s always new memes coming thru and it’s an evergreen product.
Business Risks
• Meme culture evolves quickly, a design that performs well today might not be relevant next month. Staying ahead of trends is key. • Organic traffic is currently the only driver(Organic traffic is inconsistent), so the buyer should consider expanding to Etsy or Amazon, running light paid ads, or utilising the email list to diversify traffic and maintain momentum.
Work & Skills Required
• Ideal skills: Basic Canva or design knowledge, ability to follow meme trends, and experience with email marketing, basic ad testing and Amazon or etsy. • You can also easily outsource creatives and fulfilment, and I’m happy to offer 30 days post-sale support to hand off systems and workflows.
Support Offered
I’m offering 30 days of hands on support post sale, including Zoom calls and personal guidance on scaling the store. I’ll walk you through all systems, content strategy, and help you source or hire the right team (creators, VAs, designers, etc.). I’ll also provide feedback on creatives, help with transitioning accounts, and make sure you’re set up to hit $10K+ months again quickly.
Reason for Selling
This is my second year as an entrepreneur, and one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that trying to grow too many projects at once can kill momentum. I’ve reached a point where I’m constantly spread thin and overwhelmed and I know the only way to reach the next level is to double down on just 1–2 brands I’m truly passionate about and scale them properly. As much as I love this store, I’ve made the tough call to exit and create the focus I need to grow faster.
Additional Notes
The business is built to be lean and efficient. There’s one creator/VA ($150/month) who helps come up with product ideas, creates content, and uploads designs to the store. There’s also a graphic designer ($125/month) responsible for turning concepts into high converting designs. Perfect for someone who wants a low maintenance store with solid infrastructure and room to scale.
