Money Nomad ("we", "us", or "our") operates the moneynomad.com website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our marketplace.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create a seller account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account.
Listing Information
When you create a listing, we collect business details you provide including business name, description, financial data, URLs, and uploaded images. This information is displayed publicly on the marketplace.
Inquiry Information
When buyers submit an inquiry, we collect their name, email address, and message. No buyer account is required.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. We receive a record of the transaction including the amount, date, and Stripe payment ID.
Automatically Collected Information
We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection on forms, which may collect technical data such as your IP address and browser information. We also collect IP addresses for rate limiting purposes.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the marketplace
- To process listing payments via Stripe
- To connect buyers with sellers through the inquiry system
- To send transactional emails (listing updates, inquiry notifications, account-related messages)
- To review and moderate listings
- To prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
Email Communications
We send transactional emails related to your account and listings using Resend. If you subscribe to our newsletter, marketing emails are sent via MailerLite and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (managed PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies that restrict data access at the database level. Uploaded images are stored in Supabase Storage. We use HTTPS for all connections and follow security best practices.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:

- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional emails
- MailerLite — marketing emails and newsletter
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as necessary to operate the service (e.g., sending your inquiry to a seller, processing payments through Stripe).

You can update your account information through your settings page. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us and we will process your request.
