Commentary
Revenue fluctuations mainly reflect the timing of MoR payouts (paid tier) rather than underlying performance. Display ads alone comfortably cover all running costs; ad monetization is also where the most profit remains untapped.

Docker, NodeJS, Next.js, PostgreSQL
Assets Included
Main domain and brand, including the registered EU trademark. Full domain portfolio: all operational receiving domains, the category-defining generic domain in the core market, and a larger inventory of aged and premium domains with independent resale value. Complete codebase, self-built and owned outright, fully dockerized with deployment setup and documentation. All revenue accounts and relationships: ad network accounts, the merchant of record setup with the existing subscriber base, and all recurring revenue attached to it. Operational infrastructure: server configuration, monitoring, and the runbook covering all routine tasks. Social media handles and supporting web properties connected to the brand. Not included: the legal entity itself. This is structured as an asset deal, all assets transfer directly to the buyer.
Growth Opportunities
The business runs profitably on autopilot, but it is monetized at a fraction of its potential. Three clear levers a new owner can pull from day one: Ad revenue is the sleeping giant. All running costs are already covered by display ads on a basic setup. With 200K+ monthly visitors, there is significant headroom for anyone who takes ad monetization seriously, whether through better partners or direct deals. This has simply never been a focus. Paid tier runs itself, and it is barely switched on. The paid tier currently serves 130 paying customers with zero active promotion and zero manual work. Billing, provisioning and delivery are fully automated, so it stays hands-off at any scale. The gap between 130 customers and 200K+ monthly visitors is the opportunity: even small conversion improvements multiply recurring revenue. Multiple new markets, one SEO push away. The product is fully localized into multiple languages, but organic traffic is concentrated in one core European market. The neighboring English and Spanish markets are several times larger. The pages exist, they just need links. The sale also includes a larger portfolio of aged and premium domains with independent resale value.
Business Risks
Organic traffic dependency. The majority of visitors come through organic search. Rankings have been stable for years and the site holds strong positions for the core keywords in its main market, but as with any SEO-driven business, a major algorithm update remains the single biggest risk factor. The multilingual footprint spreads this risk across markets rather than concentrating it on one set of keywords. Ad monetization dependency. Display advertising is the primary revenue source, which means exposure to ad network policies and rate fluctuations. The premium tier provides a growing second leg of recurring revenue that is independent of ad partners. Competition. The niche has low barriers to entry and many small competitors. The moat is not the concept but the execution: established rankings in a valuable market, 11 languages, and years of accumulated trust signals that a new entrant cannot replicate quickly. Seasonality. Traffic is stable year-round. As with any ad-supported website, CPMs follow the usual industry rhythm, typically stronger toward the end of the year and softer at the start, but beyond that there are no notable seasonal patterns in traffic or revenue.
Work & Skills Required
Once running, the business requires close to zero hours per week. It has operated essentially hands-off for the past two months, with no daily tasks and no customer-facing obligations. Occasional attention, a few hours per month, covers monitoring and the rare support email. The stack is straightforward for anyone with basic technical skills: the site runs fully dockerized on a single dedicated server, so deployments and maintenance are clean and reproducible. Some JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge is helpful for making changes to the codebase, but not required for day-to-day operation. The one skill that pays off is SEO. Since organic search drives the traffic, an owner who understands the basics of on-page SEO and link building can both protect the existing rankings and unlock the growth described above. No advanced expertise needed, but an interest in it helps.
Support Offered
30 days of email support after closing, covering questions about operations, infrastructure and codebase. Response within 1 to 2 business days. One structured handover call (Teams, Zoom) walking through the server setup, deployment process, ad and payment accounts, and the routine operational tasks. Written documentation covering the infrastructure setup, deployment workflow and a runbook for the few recurring tasks, handed over at closing. Extended support beyond the first 30 days is negotiable if needed.
Reason for Selling
Focus. The business runs well and requires little time, but my attention has shifted to other projects, and this one deserves an owner who actively works on its growth rather than just keeping it running. I built it, optimized it for stability and low maintenance, and it has reached the point where the obvious next steps, better ad monetization, premium growth, international SEO, need someone committed to executing them. There is no problem hiding behind the sale: revenue is stable, operations are automated, and I am happy to demonstrate everything in due diligence.
Additional Notes
The business is fully transferable. No personal brand, no founder dependency, no key relationships that leave with me. Every account, domain and contract transfers cleanly to the new owner. It is a legitimate, professionally run operation. Registered EU trademark, proper company structure behind it, clean books, and payment processing through an established merchant of record. Due diligence will be straightforward. The codebase is self-built and owned outright. No licensed components with transfer restrictions, no third-party code with unclear ownership, no technical debt from acquisitions. I want a clean, fair deal for both sides. Priced with realistic expectations, open to reasonable offers, and prepared for a quick close: documentation exists, accounts are organized, and there are no known loose ends to untangle.
